Website making flashbacks

When I was younger, I used to spend a lot of my time making fan sites and writing entertainment magazine “articles” (that no one but myself ever read). This was back in the days when AOL dial-up was the only way to connect to the World Wide Web. I made websites for whoever was “the flavor of the month”, or rather in my case “the flavor of the decade” – ranging from Hanson to *N SYNC to even my favorite movies actresses of the time, i.e. Claire Danes and Kate Winslet. I used the likes of Geocities and Tripod to host my sites – ahh, memories. Those were the places I was able to hone in on my skills in HTML – granted I was not advanced by any means, but I knew enough to get by.

Then, I grew up a smidge and the way we connected to the internet changed. My interests evolved and so did the world. Social media took over and cellphones stuck to our hands like a new appendage. Lately, I’ve been feeling I’ve been twiddling my thumbs a little too much and I want to start something new. I suddenly remembered how much I enjoyed making websites, so here we are.

My ideas for this site are still a little scattered, but over time I hope I’ll figure that all out. So, please bear with me.
