Hair Business

Happy first day of October! Recently, I got myself a trim and had gotten side swept bangs again. For whatever reason, hair always looks better when you’re fresh out of the salon. So for reasons beyond my comprehension, it’s not quite the same when you’re left to your own devices. I bought a couple of pomade type products at CVS the next day, and the Organix Surf Paste and Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Finishing Paste is what I ended up with. I’m not quite sure which of the two I really like and does the job well. But it seems that I’ve been leaning more towards the Surf Paste as it doesn’t really leave much of a residue behind, plus it smells amazing.

The other two products are my holy grail shampoo & conditioner. For years, my holy grail shampoo was Nexxus Ultimate Moisture shampoo, but I’ve noticed in the last couple of years that it’s been causing some build up on my roots. On a whim, I tried the very inexpensive Suave Naturals Daily Clarifying shampoo and it changed my life. It’s a very simple shampoo that totally leaves your hair feeling clean – no traces of gunk left behind. As for my, holy grail conditioner, Aussie Moist 3-minute Miracle has been my no-fail favorite for ages. I love it so much that I have a ridiculous amount of back ups because I’m afraid to ever run out. I do as the bottle suggests but only apply it to the bottom half of my hair (none on the roots). I then comb it through when I rinse. It leaves my hair soft, bouncy, and healthy looking.

Hope you have a blessed day.
